i'm using Cinnamon 2.0.11 on F19
and sth is broken with 12/24 hour format of cinnamon lockscreen
is there any way to change it manually?

Time is displayed in 12-hour format in the screensaver/lockscreen when I have all times everywhere configured for 24-hour format.

Hi,

I wrote a post about this and mistakenly put it in the cinnamon issues instead of cinnamon-screensaver. Anyway, here it is. Requires some minor editing and a quick recompile. Small price to pay imo.

Thank you for the thorough explanation of how to fix the issue, but who on earth decided to hardcode a datetime format in the first place? Aren't datetimes, more or less, one of the most commonly localized forms of data ever?

@Fjodor42 Couldn't tell you, but I agree completely. Mint is the only place I can remember running into something like this.
